These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the GreatSun Consulting LLC (“GreatSun,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website and your purchase or use of our products and services. By accessing our website, purchasing a product or service, submitting an order, or otherwise engaging GreatSun for services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

GreatSun Consulting provides professional services to businesses and organizations, including solar design services, new construction solar design, consulting, operational and technology advisory services, CRM and workflow optimization, sales and go-to-market consulting, and other related professional services.

Specific deliverables, pricing, timelines, and requirements may also be governed by a proposal, statement of work, service agreement, invoice, or other written agreement between GreatSun and the customer.

If a separately executed written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the terms of the separately executed agreement will control for the services covered by that agreement.

2. Solar Design Services

GreatSun may provide preliminary, conceptual, sales, proposal, or other solar design services based on plans, drawings, measurements, specifications, photographs, data, or other information supplied by the customer.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, GreatSun’s solar design services are intended for preliminary planning, visualization, sales, proposal, or related business purposes.

GreatSun’s standard design deliverables are not intended to constitute stamped engineering documents, structural engineering, electrical engineering, permit-ready construction documents, professional architectural services, or a guarantee that a proposed system will receive permitting, utility, interconnection, financing, incentive, or other third-party approval.

Any engineering, permitting, construction, or code-compliance requirements remain the responsibility of the customer and the appropriately licensed professionals involved in the project unless those services are expressly included in a separate written agreement with GreatSun.

3. Customer-Provided Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate information reasonably necessary for GreatSun to perform the requested services.

This may include building plans, architectural drawings, roof dimensions, site information, equipment specifications, photographs, utility information, project requirements, and other relevant materials.

GreatSun may rely on information supplied by the customer without independently verifying its accuracy.

Changes, delays, inaccuracies, or omissions in customer-provided information may affect the accuracy of a deliverable or the time required to complete it. GreatSun is not responsible for errors or delays resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or subsequently changed information supplied by the customer or a third party.

4. Design Credits and Packages

Design credits purchased through the GreatSun website may be redeemed for eligible solar design services according to the package purchased.

Unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page or in writing:

• One design credit represents one eligible project/design submission.
• Credits may not be exchanged for cash.
• Credits may not be resold or transferred to another business without GreatSun’s written approval.
• A credit is considered used once GreatSun has materially begun work on the corresponding design request.
• Additional work outside the scope of the original design request may require an additional design credit or additional fee.

Package pricing and the number of included credits are determined by the product description displayed at the time of purchase.

5. Turnaround Times

Any turnaround time displayed on the website, including a standard 1–2 business day turnaround, represents GreatSun’s expected service target and is not an absolute guarantee unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

Turnaround begins after GreatSun receives all information reasonably necessary to begin the project.

Turnaround may be affected by submission volume, project complexity, incomplete information, revisions to customer requirements, holidays, circumstances outside GreatSun’s reasonable control, or other factors.

GreatSun will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays.

6. Expedited and Same-Day Services

GreatSun may offer expedited or same-day processing for an additional fee.

Availability may be limited and is subject to workload, project complexity, submission time, and receipt of complete project information.

Where an advertised submission cutoff applies, the complete project must be received by that cutoff to qualify. Purchasing expedited service does not override missing-information requirements or make a project eligible for expedited delivery when GreatSun reasonably determines that the project’s scope or complexity prevents completion within the expedited timeframe.

If GreatSun is unable to provide a purchased expedited service for reasons within GreatSun’s control, GreatSun may refund or credit the expedited-service fee as appropriate.

7. Revisions and Scope Changes

GreatSun will make reasonable corrections when a delivered design does not reflect the information originally provided by the customer.

Requests resulting from changed plans, changed equipment, changed project requirements, newly supplied information, redesign of a substantially different configuration, or other material changes to the original request may be treated as additional work and may require an additional fee or design credit.

GreatSun will communicate when a requested change is considered outside the original scope before proceeding with separately billable work.

8. Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Payment for online purchases is due at checkout. Consulting engagements and other professional services may be invoiced according to the applicable proposal, agreement, statement of work, or invoice.

GreatSun reserves the right to change future pricing at any time. A pricing change will not retroactively change the price of a completed purchase or an executed agreement unless otherwise agreed by the parties.

9. Promotions and Discount Codes

GreatSun may periodically offer promotional pricing, discounts, or coupon codes.

Promotions may be subject to eligibility requirements, product restrictions, customer restrictions, redemption limits, expiration dates, or other conditions disclosed with the offer.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions:

• Cannot be combined with other discounts.
• Have no cash value.
• Apply only to qualifying purchases made during the applicable promotional period.
• Cannot be applied retroactively to previous purchases.

GreatSun reserves the right to reject or cancel the use of a promotional code in cases of fraud, abuse, technical error, duplicate redemption contrary to the promotion’s terms, or failure to satisfy the stated eligibility requirements.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

Because GreatSun Consulting provides professional services and reserves resources for customer projects, refund eligibility depends on whether services have begun and whether purchased design credits have been used.

Unused Design Credit Purchases. A customer may request cancellation and a refund of a completely unused design credit purchase or package within fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase. To qualify, no design credit associated with the purchase may have been used and GreatSun must not have materially begun work on any design submitted under the purchase.

Used Design Credits. A design credit is considered used once GreatSun has materially begun work on the corresponding design request. Used design credits and completed designs are non-refundable, except where GreatSun is unable to provide the purchased service for reasons within GreatSun’s control.

Partially Used Packages. If a customer requests cancellation of the unused portion of a design credit package within fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase, GreatSun may refund the remaining unused portion. Any design credits already used will be recalculated at the standard individual design price in effect at the time the package was purchased, rather than the discounted package rate. The amount attributable to those used credits will be deducted from any refund otherwise due.

For example, if a customer purchases a discounted package and uses one design credit before requesting an eligible cancellation, the completed or commenced design may be valued at the standard single-design price, with the remaining eligible balance refunded.

Expedited Services. Expedited or same-day service fees are non-refundable once GreatSun has materially begun expedited work. If GreatSun is unable to provide the purchased expedited service for reasons within GreatSun’s control, GreatSun may refund the expedited-service fee or, with the customer’s agreement, provide an equivalent credit.

Promotional and Complimentary Credits. Complimentary design credits, promotional credits, discounts, coupons, and other amounts not actually paid by the customer have no cash value and are not refundable. Refunds will not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for the applicable purchase.

Refund Method. Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment processor or financial institution.

Nothing in this section limits any refund, cancellation, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

11. Design Credit Validity

Unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of purchase, purchased design credits are valid for twelve (12) months from the original purchase date.

Design credits remaining after the applicable validity period may expire and become unavailable for redemption, subject to applicable law.

Design credits are associated with the original purchasing customer or business and may not be resold, transferred, or exchanged for cash without GreatSun’s prior written approval.

GreatSun may, at its discretion, extend the validity period of unused design credits upon written request. Any extension is a courtesy and does not modify the validity period applicable to other purchases.

Promotional, complimentary, or otherwise non-purchased credits may have different validity periods or restrictions as disclosed when issued.

12. Intellectual Property and Use of Deliverables

GreatSun retains ownership of its pre-existing intellectual property, methodologies, templates, processes, systems, know-how, and proprietary materials.

Upon full payment, customers may use completed project-specific deliverables for their legitimate internal and commercial business purposes, including customer presentations, project evaluation, proposals, sales activities, and project development, subject to any limitations stated in the applicable agreement.

Customer-provided plans, drawings, trademarks, photographs, data, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

By providing materials to GreatSun, the customer represents that it has the necessary rights or authorization to provide those materials and permits GreatSun to use them as reasonably necessary to perform the requested services.

13. Third-Party Platforms and Information

GreatSun’s services may involve or reference third-party software, solar equipment, design platforms, CRM systems, manufacturers, financing providers, utilities, permitting authorities, or other third parties.

GreatSun does not control those third parties and is not responsible for changes to their products, services, pricing, availability, requirements, policies, approvals, or performance.

References to third-party products or services do not constitute a guarantee of their performance or availability.

14. No Guarantee of Business or Project Outcomes

GreatSun provides professional services based on information available at the time the services are performed.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, GreatSun does not guarantee sales results, project approval, energy production, financial savings, permitting outcomes, utility approval, financing approval, construction results, revenue growth, or other specific business or project outcomes.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GreatSun’s website and services are provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated in a written agreement.

GreatSun disclaims implied warranties to the extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GreatSun will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunities, or loss of data arising from the use of the website or GreatSun’s services.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GreatSun’s aggregate liability arising from a particular purchased service will not exceed the amount actually paid to GreatSun for the service giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

17. Website Use

You may use the GreatSun website for lawful purposes.

Website content, branding, graphics, text, processes, and other GreatSun-owned materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, or commercially exploited without permission, except as permitted by law or expressly authorized by GreatSun.

This restriction does not prevent customers from using purchased project deliverables as permitted under Section 12.

18. Privacy

Information collected through the website is handled according to GreatSun’s Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy should be reviewed separately from these Terms and does not replace these Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or website purchases will be subject to the applicable state or federal courts having jurisdiction in South Carolina, unless the parties have agreed to a different dispute-resolution procedure in a separate written agreement.

20. Changes to These Terms

GreatSun may update these Terms periodically.

Changes will apply prospectively from the effective date of the updated Terms. The Terms in effect at the time of a customer’s purchase will generally govern that purchase unless the customer and GreatSun subsequently agree otherwise.

Continued use of the website after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms with respect to future website use.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
